This corridor is a mix of long-time mill-town homes in Bonner and Milltown, newer development around the old mill site, and rural acreage up the Blackfoot where propane, electric and wood heat are the norm. Homes in East Missoula tend to be older and closer to the city grid, while Potomac and Greenough properties are more likely to need propane furnace service, a ductless system for a shop, or a heat pump sized for a big open floor plan.
Hellgate Canyon wind makes this one of the colder pockets in the valley on winter nights. When the furnace fails after dark, we are a short drive away and on call around the clock.
