Heating Repair
When the furnace quits on a January night outside Missoula, you do not need a sales pitch. You need someone who will show up, find the actual problem, and tell you straight what it costs to fix. That is the whole reason Blue Collar Heating and Air exists.
Straight Answers, Fair Prices
We repair gas furnaces, propane furnaces, electric furnaces, boilers and heat pumps across the Missoula Valley from our shop in Clinton. We are not tied to one brand, so we service whatever is in your mechanical room: Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Rheem, Goodman, Bryant, American Standard, Amana and everything else.
Serving Clinton, Missoula, Lolo, Frenchtown, the Bitterroot Valley, plus scheduled service to Helena, Great Falls and Libby and Troy.
Know the Signs
The blower runs but the air is lukewarm, or nothing comes out of the registers at all.
The furnace fires, runs for a minute or two, shuts off, then starts again. This wears out parts fast.
New noises usually mean a failing blower motor, a cracked belt, loose ductwork or delayed ignition.
A healthy gas flame is blue. Yellow can signal incomplete combustion and a carbon monoxide risk. Call right away.
A furnace that has to run longer to hold temperature is telling you something is failing.
Cold rooms, constant fan, or a system that ignores the setpoint.
What to Expect
Local Expertise
Missoula Valley winters push furnaces harder than almost anywhere in the country. Weeks of sub-zero nights, inversions that trap cold air in the valley, and older homes with original ductwork all add up to systems that fail at the worst possible time. Because we are based in Clinton, we are minutes from East Missoula, Bonner and Turah and well positioned for Missoula, Lolo, Frenchtown and the Bitterroot.
Many rural homes around Clinton, Potomac and the Bitterroot run on propane or electric heat rather than natural gas. We service all three, including the ignition and regulator issues that are unique to propane furnaces.
Call or text and tell us what is going on. We will give you an honest arrival window and an upfront quote before any work begins. Financing is available on major repairs and new systems.
